| Skiing The slopes are located about a 10 minute walk, 3 minute drive, from the apartment. The ski season is long and normally lasts from December till March. The resort benefits from 50 snow canons, 45 of them covering 50% of the runs. This helps keep them fresh even when snowfall is light. Ski runs The Todora Peak (2600 m) is the highest point of the ski centre. It is possible to ski a 16km uninterrupted run from the top of the Peak, the last 7 kms is lit. The total length of marked ski runs There is an excellent ski/snowboard school providing tuition for all abilities with instructors who speak excellent English. The prices for equipment hire, lift passes and tuition in Bansko are very reasonable when comparing with other ski resorts in Europe. |

Other Facilities in Bansko There are also plenty of Western restaurants to cater for all tastes. Eating out in Bansko is extremely affordable and a fraction of the cost of France or Italy. There are banks, supermarkets, clothes shops, ski hire shops a plenty in Bansko. Also available locally is horse riding, ten pin bowling, swimming, hiking, mountain biking and a lively night life. |
